First I want to say TopDog Company and Dr. J are the best thing since sliced bread.  My 7 year old black lab, Sammy, had an ACL tear two years ago and had to have surgery, which was a long recovery, but thanks to Dr. J and TopDog, the step-by-step rehab program was amazing and helped Sammy get back to herself.    I also purchased a  harness to help her get in and out of car, get up steps, etc. which was also amazing and reasonable.   The vet hospital that did the surgery, never suggested any kind of harness to help me get her into my SUV after surgery or the intensive rehab, that she needed.

Pilot is a 3 year old chocolate lab that has had the TTA surgery on both knees before he was 1.5 yrs old.  He is a very active!  The vet recommended that we start him on some Glucosamine supplements.  Wanting to stick with a US product and something that he would take as a treat was not an easy task!  We had a hard time finding a product he would eat until we tried GlycanAid HA!  Not only does he think its a treat BUT his stiffness is better.  We have now been on GlycanAid HA for over 6 months and at our last Vet appointment the Dr. said his knees were looking good!  He is headed back to the water with a spring in his step and less stiffness!  Thank you so much TopDog and Dr James!

GlycanAid HA is an amazing product. My lab Bruin had TTO surgery on one knee last year and I followed your rehabilitation guides religiously and used GlycanAid HA. He healed very nicely but I got lazy about ordering and starting sending my daughter to our vet who’s a few blocks away to pick up Dasaquin. Plus we had a super icy winter — the snow drifts became permanent ice bluffs so neither bruin or his labby sister got much exercise. Finally spring arrived but Bruin’s gait was horrible. He kept skipping to avoid putting pressure on his good leg. I was certain he needed another surgery and I didn’t have the stomach for the cost or the recovery. My lovely boy also ate a sock last summer that had to be surgically removed to the tune of $5900. The vet said his knee felt swollen but did not appear to be torn.  I immediately ordered GlycanAid HA and your omega oil. My Pitbull Lab mix had his knee surgically repaired when he was three. He recovered quickly and we were walking two miles a day at a brisk pace.  As the years passed he unfortunately slowed down. He is now seven and we were down to about a half mile at a snails pace. I really enjoy our walks and I was devastated by his slow down. My 2 year old shelter dog, Taffy, a pit-boxer-lab mix, injured her rear leg by rough housing with a doggie playmate.  I took her to the vet (not a vet I would go to again) and she had x-rays.  Her diagnosis was a cruciate ligament injury and I was told it would cost $3,800.00 to repair it and it would take a long time to recover after the  surgery.  I decided not to put her through the surgery and try to help her repair her injury.  Well, trying to keep her quiet was pretty impossible.  I looked online and found some information regarding supplements that could help repair her injury.  I have another 13 year old dog that had that surgery over 8 years ago and it cost $1,700.00 then but his ligament was actually completely torn apart, not just injured.  His name is Niko.  He is getting old and arthritic and was having trouble getting up the two stairs into the house.

My 5 year old golden retriever had CCL surgery on April 21.  I followed the TopDog Health recovery program, along with using the GlycanAid HA and she and I are already doing two 1.5 mile walks in a day.

Our dog Bailey (7 yrs old)  had TPLO surgery in January.   We studied the TopDog Health guidebook and website.  Then we ordered the GlycanAid product in hopes to speed up the recovery process. Bailey recovered very well!   Our vet was nicely surprised at her progress when we took her in for her follow up visit.

We decided that we would give the other two dogs the GlycanAid as well.  We started our 10 year old German Shepard on it who would limp a bit after getting up from laying down. We also started our MinPin on it.  She was on carprofen because she would actually favor one of her back hind legs and would walk around hopping along with the other three legs.

Since we started them on the GlycanAid in February, the Shepherd is no longer limping when he gets up from his naps  The MinPin has not favored the one hind leg and runs around the yard and up/down the stairs without any problems.  She is no longer on the carprofen.

One year ago, Bella had double TPLO surgery.  She had both legs done at the same time.  I was a nervous wreck!  We followed all the instructions posted by Dr. J on the Topdog website.  They were very similar to the instructions given to me by my vet.  Bella had been on Glyco-flex III before and after her surgery.  However, after her recovery, she still favored her left leg, which was the total tear leg.  She also had some trouble getting up and limped for a little bit when first standing.

MAC is a 3.5 year old Bernese Mountain Dog.  He is our “fur” baby, our big boy, and the love of our lives.  On January 31, 2013, he had TPLO surgery on his left hind leg.  Leading up to the surgery was a scary time for us, as we didn’t know what to expect.  I talked to 4 different Vets.  I had many x-rays taken.  I knew that both ACLs were going to need repair and I didn’t know what to do.  I googled and researched and came across topdoghealth.com.  It saved our lives!  I downloaded the TPLO Home Rehabilitation Guide and it became the bible to us.  I documented each day of MAC’s first surgery and followed the tips and exercises.  MAC recovered from his first surgery and had a second surgery on his right hind leg on July 4, 2013.  We didn’t feel as nervous for the second surgery since we had the experience and the “bible”.  I documented each day of MAC’s second surgery and compared it to his first surgery journal.  It is amazing how knowledgeable we became and how were were able to assist in our baby’s recovery.  Thank you for giving us the tools, tips, and confidence to help our dog become a dog again.  I can’t say enough wonderful things about your website, programs, and obviously the caring staff behind it all!
