Dr. J,

Hi there. We are very happy with the GlycanAid HA that we purchased. Our 10.5 year old Newf mix recently had ACL surgery and we have made sure that he is taking this ever since. He is doing amazingly well and is on his way to a full recovery. We did have to replace a bottle as our lab managed to eat the entire bottle while we were at work but… we got a replacement and all is well.

I signed up to have it shipped automatically every 7 weeks so we are never without and I can get the 20% discount.

Thanks a million,

Thank you so much for all the information you provide over the web. If I may I would like to share my story with you. My son rescued a small dog from the park last fall. He was tied to a park bench, in the cold rain with a note attached to his neck to find him a home. My son, having grown up with many types of animals on our small farm could not abandon this sweet little being. He had frost bite on the tips of his ears. He immediately was attached to our family including all four of my cats.

He loves playing with his toys so much so that he was running in our family room while we were watching tv one night and all of a sudden he just got a little quiet. He didn’t say a word. I checked him out and he didn’t seem to have anything wrong. He was walking fine and all other functions seemed ok. By the following day he was limping slightly so we applied heat and ice therapy to his hip. It seemed to be swelling. Still he didn’t cry or wine when we tried to touch him. We decided to take him to our local veterinarian for an evaluation. X-rays revealed a femur fracture. The clinic gave us a couple of options. This was a horrible experience as we were faced with a financial dilemma. We love our animals but did not have the cash up front for the surgery and we were not given any type of payment options.

They took our dog, performed the surgery and then relinquished him to our local shelter. We were completely distraught. After pleading with our shelter, they realized our intentions and returned our precious Shadow back to us. The clinic had performed a FHO surgery and placed him on antibiotics and Metacam. No other instructions were given to us and we felt completely abandoned.

I didn’t know how to rehab this poor little animal or even understood what they had done to him. It was then I found your website and have been following as much as possible all of your guidelines for rehab. Shadow is now on GlycanAid HA and his energy level has doubled. This does however make it difficult to restrict his wanting to run. He was introduced to our hot tub for the first time this week and loved it. Every day we see more and more improvement.

We want to thank you for all the support you offer. The average pet owner has minimal knowledge on rehab care and the local professionals come at a very hefty price. Thank you so much for caring about animal and their owners. I don’t know how we would have gotten through these last two months.

I have been spreading the word about your website and the exceptional service and support you provide. Again I can’t thank you enough for all you do. You are awesome….

Dr. J –

Your product is incredible. I have a 8 year old, 77 pound dog that injured himself a couple months ago. The vet diagnosed him with arthritis and prescribed an anti-inflammatory and over the counter glucosamine. Once the swelling went down he had clicking in his back legs and still walked quickly to his destination to sit down. Within 4 days of taking the GlycanAid HA the clicking was gone and he became much more active and interactive with the family. Truly amazing.

Thank you!

Dear Dr J-

Our almost nine year old German shepherd was having a very hard time going up stairs, and getting up from lying on the floor. We were starting to get worried, but later began to come to terms with the fact that he was getting older and that these types of things would become harder for him to do. He had been on Dasuquin, for about a year, but we never quite saw the results we had hoped for. And then we discovered GlycanAid HA. What drew us to this product was the fact that it contains hyaluronic acid. The reviews seemed too good to be true, but we figured we had nothing to risk by trying the product, only everything to gain. We started Bucky on 8 tablets for the first 3 weeks, and then transitioned to 4 on a daily basis. Not only does Bucky love the taste, and anxiously awaits getting the GlycanAid HA everyday (we think he believes they are his treats), and eats them without us having to sneak them in between a piece of cheese or peanut butter, we have seen a remarkable change in Bucky’s energy level. He’s been going up and down the stairs, so playful with other pups, and gets up off the ground with ease. Words can’t express what this product means to us. Seeing Bucky happy and so full of life is priceless, and I am certain that we have GlycanAid HA to thank for this. We are forever grateful to you Dr J, and are true believers in all your products, and will be without a doubt, customers for life.

Dr. St. Clair:

Thank you. This was not an easy fix for all his problems. He was hit by a hit and run driver April 1st of last year. Three out of his four legs had severe orthopedic injuries. The right rear had three surgeries, the last being FHO in September 2014, as a last ditch effort to get him as back to normal as he could be without amputation. (The total of surgeries was 6) I just keep telling myself, as you said, give it 6 months; so we still have time to get him a bit better. I truly believe that because of all of these orthopedic joint issues and fractures, he is much better with the GlycanAid HA from you and the therapy recommendations for FHO. Over time as he ages, he is only going to be 2 in March, this supplement will keep him comfortable as the arthritis sets in. I have no doubt that even though he is limping, he is much better off with your program recommendations and the GlycanAid HA than he would have been without them. I have signed up for the regular shipments.

Churchill sends a big sloppy kiss to you!

Dear Dr James,

We LOVE the GlycanAid for our 10 year old black lab Rupert. Rupert had 2 TPLO surgeries at 5 and 6 years of age and we followed your rehab program but because we live in Canada, at the time we couldn’t get your product.

The past year he has really started to slow down. Even though I gave him glucosamine daily and Metacam when needed, he lacked spark.

Well…he’s now been on GlycanAid for almost 2 weeks and he is doing awesome. He brings me his tug toy to play, races up the driveway after his walks and has a lot more energy. We are vacationing right now and my daughter is looking after him and her comment is, “Mom, what is up with Rupert? He’s like he’s 2 years old, he’s driving me crazy!” Hahhaha … A good crazy!

I want 4 more bottles as I am in Maui and will order some more today as the shipping is very decent in the U.S.

Thank you for this incredible product! He’ll be on it now the rest of his life.

Hello Dr. James,

Just sending you a note about Scotty my 4 year old Lab/Doodle. Scotty had TPLO surgery on Oct 16th, he was still limping and at times walking on 3 legs in Jan. At that point, with your recommendation I started Scotty on your GlycanAid HA supplement on the 1st of Feb. Within 3 weeks I started to notice a great improvement in his walk and now running. No more walking on 3 legs. He is much happier now. The only problem I have now is to slow him down, but I’m not complaining.

I’m sending you a couple of pictures of Scotty then and now.

A few months ago I wrote to you about my then 10 year old yellow lab. Her name is Flopps. She had just had her 2nd surgery for her ACL. The TTA surgery was a little different than her TPLO surgery in 2009. The surgeon had told us to I follow your rehabilitation schedule. She is a pretty active dog and with this surgery and she was having problems adjusting her body, lifting her hind legs to get up and altogether looking very uncomfortable. We were at about the 6 week post-op stag when I wrote you, telling what was going on and you were nice enough to promptly answer. You told me to go back a few steps in the post-surgery rehabilitation and continue with the warm compresses and Physical Therapy and to make sure she was on the GlycanAid HA for her joints. If there was no improvement, I should speak to my vet.

It is now 6 months later, she is 11 and I must say, the GlycanAid HA has helped make a huge difference in her life. First off, she loves the tablets, she is on maintenance (she weighs 84 lbs) and gets one pill 3 x a day. Believe me if I forget, she goes to the cabinet and barks until she gets her “snack.” The difference in her hind legs is absolutely amazing. She now can get up quickly like when she was younger. What a pleasure to watch. We have a neighbor dog that my dog runs the fence line with in the backyard. She has no problems with quick turns and running back and forth. It’s a pleasure to know she is comfortable and the GlycanAid HA is doing its part. Thank you for introducing us the the GlycanAid HA product.

My Bichon is now 9 wks post-op ACL surgery. He started doing PT on an underwater treadmill around wk 5. He just went to his vet for an 8 wk post-op recheck and after looking at his x-rays, his vet told me if he did not know Bailey had had surgery he would not be able to tell he had had surgery because he had perfect alignment in his leg. I was so glad to hear that news. I credit it to the surgeon and starting Bailey on GlycanAid HA about 3 weeks before his surgery.

I have the best news! On the day after his 1st swimming PT I decided to take him for a little walk. We walked on grass and then we moved to cement and as long as we went at a slow pace all 4 paws were walking on the cement! We did the same thing the next day and he walked on the concrete. This morning after his breakfast he was walking on all 4 on the hard wood floor. I think swimming in the pool has boosted his muscles and his confidence. 99% of the time I forget he’s a rescue dog with a history I know nothing about. When the vet took the last set of x-rays at his 8 wk check he told me and I saw it that Bailey had been shot with a bee bee gun. Because there was a bee bee in the x-ray. Having him on his leash and walking with me again is the best gift I could ever receive. We are keeping our speed slow for as long as he needs it to be slow. Slow is a speed he never used pre-surgery but he seems to be getting comfortable with it:) I’m still giving him 1/2 a Tramadol on the longer PT days. Thank you for getting back to me so quickly and I’m so happy to report Bailey is doing so well in his recovery. It is only due to all the information I received from you and the GlycanAid HA supplement that I’ve been able to keep his recovery on track and see his progress. Thank you so very much.
