Our girl is an 86 lb Bernese Mtn Dog. She is regaining her mobility after being back on GlycanAid HA for the last, what 2 weeks? — we saw a significant decline in her when we ran out of the GlycanAid HA factor. She’s had 2 TTA’s, the last being a year ago in November. It’s heartening to see she can play in the snow again. Just 2 weeks ago she couldn’t climb the stairs, and she’d only been off the meds a couple of weeks. I must get on the auto ship program, I can’t do this to her ever again. We ran out as I was trying to find a Canadian supplier, as I was worried about the hassles of Canadian customs, but we had no problem with either extra charges or timing.

Thanks for caring enough to provide true quality ingredients. How is a consumer to know unless an ethical vet like yourself puts their expertise and knowledge behind a product. I can’t say enough how much it means to see our girl seemingly out of pain and jumping in the snow, like a Berner should be.

Dear Dr. St. Clair, I purchased the GlycanAid-HA after my pug-mix Barkley completely tore his ACL and our vet referred him to a surgeon to have it repaired. I took the bottle to the surgeon during our consultation, and he was impressed with the ingredients and enthusiastically gave us the go-ahead to give it to our dog. He had TPLO surgery, as well as repair of a luxating patella, that same day and it is now two weeks post-surgery. He just had his two-week post-op checkup and is doing great–walking on the repaired leg most of the time now. I feel this is due in part because of the GlycanAid-HA as well as our wonderful surgeon. Barkley will continue on this for several months and then start on the GlycanAid Maintenance Formula. No problem in getting my dog to take the pills–he looks forward to it. Thank you Top Dog Health for a wonderful product. I also want to thank you for the great information about the TPLO surgery on your website—what to expect and the guidelines for week-by-week recovery. It has been a lifesaver, and I will continue to refer to it over the next several weeks throughout Barkley’s recovery.

We started our 8 year old Golden Retriever Brinkley on GlycanAid HA Factor in April 2013 and added our 14 year old Lab/Chow mix Ozzy during the summer of 2013. I’ll detail our journey for you since I think it really shows what the supplement was up against, especially with our dog Brinkley.

Brinkley was about 5 when she slipped on the ice in December 2010. Our veterinarian found no apparent injury after she was checked out the next day, and was walking normally within 24 hours.

In March 2011, we were hiking and suddenly she started to drag her left leg. We immediately took her to our vet, who thought she had partially torn her ACL. Treatment was watch and wait for about 12 weeks. At that time, she was still limping a little, so we took her to another vet who said she had a ruptured disc and just to wait.

By January 2012, we’d had enough and went to an orthopedic surgeon for a consultation. They also believed she had partially torn her ACL but we’re not sure. She was sent home on Prednisone to see if that would help.

Three weeks later, she came in the house and would not put weight on her left leg. We took her back to the orthopedic surgeon and she had completely torn her left ACL. She had TTA surgery and recovered fairly well (after a few missing staple incidents, despite a constant cone on her head). However, she still limped a bit on that leg, even months after surgery.

On Halloween 2012, my husband let her out late at night. At that point, she was back on leash restrictions just in case. She came back in and couldn’t walk on either of her back legs, just sort of waddled. We took her to the orthopedic surgeon immediately. He determined she had now completely torn her right ACL, and she had torn the meniscus on the left. She had surgery that day (another TTA on her right, and released meniscus on her left).

By April 2013, her right leg had healed well but she still had a left limp. We went to a veterinary research hospital and they went in to check the meniscus and release it if possible. When they opened her leg, her meniscus was gone (still can’t get my head around a muscle coming up missing, but they said sometimes it’s absorbed- crazy!). They said there was nothing else for them to do.

After this prognosis, with a 7 year old dog that looked longingly at her dusty tennis ball collection, I started looking for other answers. I found your product online and was amazed at the 100% positive reviews on Amazon. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a product, especially health-related, that did not have a negative review. We started her immediately and within a few weeks, she walked so much better!

That said, she’s not able to run around and chase tennis balls or take long walks but she has much more mobility than before. She can walk outside to wander and eliminate, and run for a short bit. No active limping on a daily basis unless she over-exerts, and then a little ice (and if it’s a pronounced limp, a half Rimadyl) seems to do the trick overnight. Our 14 year old started on the GlycanAid HA Factor after his arthritis really started to bother him (and about 13 years after he tore one of his ACLs). He is also much more mobile and often looks like a puppy running around his yard.

Just want to thank you for your product. Brinkley especially would have a much lower quality of life without it.

This picture is of my girl, Jemima. She is 6.5 years old. Her first ACL surgery was in Dec. of 2013. She had her 2nd just a couple of weeks ago. It was shortly after her 1st surgery that I found GlycanAid HA. Her leg healed beautifully and my hope is that her present recovery will rival her first

I love the GlycanAid products. I credit the starter bottle with the quick and strong recovery of my female Boston Terrier post ACL repair surgery. If someone I know has a dog with joint issues, yours is my go-to product.

We, my dogs and I, appreciate this supplement and plan to use it often.

Thank you!

Skylar is almost at 12 weeks post-op from her TPLO and is doing fantastic! At 8 weeks her x-ray showed complete bone healing! She has no limp at all and has the energy that a two year old lab should have… maybe more! We are thrilled with your supplement, GlycanAid HA and the TPLO guide was a tremendous help. I followed it as closely as possible until the snow and ice hit, and frigid temps hit, thus, slowing down our rehab routine. We are still keeping her leashed outside so she doesn’t have any incidents!

We also have Sky’s family member, Sailor, who will turn 6 in May. I was giving both the girls Cosequin DS + MSM but have switched over completely to your product due to the amazing results we’ve seen after Sky’s surgery!

Thank you for such wonderful resources for pet owners! I will continue to recommend the supplement and the guide to everyone!

Thank you so much for sending this story. We are faced with a similar situation. First off, our beloved Daizy survived ACL surgery, lost 15 pounds and survived another ACL injury and was on GlycanAid HA. We credited GlycanAid HA with her ACL recovery as well as the step-by-step rehab program you offered. We followed it religiously. Unfortunately we lost her a week before Christmas when an embolism on her spine took away all use of the lower half of her body.

So having been through all of this we found out recently that our four year old high energy aussie, Dash has a torn ACL. We were stunned. We can’t make a decision about the surgery right now, based on all that happened to Daizy, so while he is on light pain medicine we have him on GlycanAid HA! His weight is fine.

We felt comfortable with our decision but the timing of you sending this article really helped us know that we are doing the right thing for Dash. We are not 100% opposed to the surgery just need time to think about all that goes with it. This article certainly helped our confidence with the decision we have made thus far.

WE are firm believers in GlycanAid HA. It helped Daizy recover and we know it is helping Dash now too.

Thank You!

I have a 10 lb rescue. When I got her 2 years ago, she limped, held her back leg up whenever we went for a walk. It progressively got worse. The beginning of this year the Vet suggested she have surgery. I was not thinking of the cost of $5,000. I did not want her to go through anymore trauma if possible. Did a lot of research, almost went for the brace.

I found this website and read all about GlycanAid HA and tried it. Now 2nd bottle, months later she does not hold the foot up anymore, does not limp. I cannot express how happy I am, no surgery. I am afraid not to give this supplement to her. She still gets 1/2 a pill daily.

Thank you again for your product it is wonderful.

In early August this year my lab Katie was diagnosed at the same time of having a complete tear of her left ACL and partial tear of her right ACL. I did some research on the internet and found your product and decided it couldn’t hurt. One month before her surgery (TightRope CCL) was scheduled I started her on GlycanAid HA-Factor. Fast forward to the present time I have my playful dog back, she’s acting like a typical two year old.

My Vet saw her at almost 6 weeks post surgery and said she was doing excellent. Thank you for all that you have helped me with and she will be on GlycanAid HA-Factor the rest of her life!
