I have 2 highly active Springer Spaniel dogs that are 9 (Ruby) and 12 (Dotti) years old. In 2011, my younger one, Ruby
started to limp on her front leg. I had her X-rayed and vet told me she had a bone spur and should not walk over a mile at a time. A few months later, my older Springer, Dotti tore her CCL out on her back leg and had surgery (suture type). So I started giving my dogs Top Dog GlycanAid supplements right after CCL surgery–this was approximately 4 1/2 years ago. About 1 year after surgery, Dotti tore out her good leg. So I took her to the vet and he said she wouldn’t recover without surgery. We postponed the surgery. We continued with the Top Dog GlycanAid HA supplements and did short leash walks (up to a mile) for 6-8 weeks and lots of swimming at the lake. Her leg healed on its own without surgery this time. Currently we hike on the forest everyday and they run free range. We go about 20-25 miles a week. Some hikes are even up to 10 plus miles. My girls have been doing great–completely recovered and no more limping! They continue to get their Top Dog GlycanAid HA tablet everyday along with a fish oil tablet.
Thank you,
